L,
It amazes me how a few words can evoke so much. Nice. I don't know about the title, not that there is anything wrong, only that there is bridge and tunnel and place here and I am not sure how I am supposed to be using these sign posts.
J- (How is N.Y.)
Manhattanites refer to anyone from any of the other boroughs as "The Bridge and Tunnel Crowd." This poem is partially about the way that people both in and out of New York only see Manhattan as New York. All of those neighborhoods are in my new home, Brooklyn. And as for how NYC is... I have a job at my job. ;) Heeb hired me on as an editorial associate.
congrats on the job- glad to hear it. Still wondering which one of those suitors you prefered and why... That's pobably old news and new scarf material. Sacramento people are flatlanders.
